Now, this is interesting.
Spoke Radio.
I’ve been trying to work on the site, but it’s getting near impossible.
Le Tour de Langkawi starts today. With a webcast! The servers seem a little overwhelmed, though. Also, I assume this is 1130 Malaysia time. What’s the GMT offset for Malaysia? That should be, like, yesterday some time. Or maybe tomorrow.
Stages 3 and 8 look like the good ones.
This year’s Giro route is out, and Pez analyzes it. The photo of the Stelvio is awesome.
A two-hour program on the 2004 RAAM will air on NBC this Saturday, Jan. 22, at 2:30 p.m. ET. (Channel 7 in Boston)

Why ride a bicycle? Ten reasons and counting
Pretty lame article, really. Guess I’ll have to start my own collection of quotes or something.
But here are 15 more reasons.
Winter is starting to get to me. I haven’ t been out on the bike since New Year’s Day. Tonight has [...]
Oh, to have a spare five grand.
I went to an ADA reception last night and ran into several people I hadn’t seen since the NEC last July. The reception was to recognize those who had gone “above and beyond” in fundraising over the past year. What “above and beyond” is, I’m not quite sure, but it was a nice event. [...]

Spent about an hour and a half on the trainer just pedaling watching the Seventh Voyage of Sinbad. No real co-ordinated sprints or anything. I really need to get an odometer that will fit on the back wheel in order to keep track of these. I’d much, much rather be riding outside, but today [...]

From the BBC:
Greek prosecutors have opened an investigation into how a lab blunder allowed Olympic champion Tyler Hamilton escape an alleged blood doping charge.
Took the New Year’s day ride with CRW. It was very warm for New Year’s, about 50. Every time I ride with a group like this, it’s clearer and clearer that I don’t want to be involved to closely with a group like that. They’re about 60% alpha males. Ugh. Just let me ride, okay?
