CRW New Year’s Day ride
Took the New Year’s day ride with CRW. It was very warm for New Year’s, about 50. Every time I ride with a group like this, it’s clearer and clearer that I don’t want to be involved to closely with a group like that. They’re about 60% alpha males. Ugh. Just let me ride, okay?
It’s the first time I’d been down Causeway Street since the el was completely removed. What a difference. It really opens things up and I expect a renaissance there like what happened on Washington St. when the Orange Line came down. The waterfront looks different every time I’m down there, but they’ve still got a long way to go.
World famous Sheldon Brown was there with a bike with a fairing and weird colored tires.
