House hunting
Cold, cold, cold.
Rode out to Oak Square to check out the neighborhood. Man, was it cold. Brrrr. My feet still hurt.
Stopped into a realtor and visited about five properties. Went into one. She had one of those Magellan GPS units that you type in a destination address and it would speak the turns you were supposed to make. Cool in a way. Distracting in another.
Saw where my friend Dan lives, on a very high, steep hill. It’s an interesting neighborhood. Very kempt and seems pretty nice. Some streets are busy, but it is still the city after all. I didn’t realize Oak Sq was right at the very edge of the city, only a couple of blocks from the Newton town line.
I think it would be a nice place to live and the prices seem pretty reasonable compared to the SE.
