Wordpress 1.5

Sunday, March 27th, 2005

Finished upgrading to Wordpress 1.5. It did not go smoothly. They changed the whole paradigm of how the product works, and while the new way seems better, it makes upgrading a chore.

cycling.tv

Saturday, March 26th, 2005

I saw this in this month’s The Ride. This is what I’ve been waiting for! And, there seems to be a bit of free content as well. I’ve been looking at aria tv for a while, but for $12+ per month subscription, they really don’t have much, and there’s no way to preview their service [...]

I’ll have to remember this

Thursday, March 24th, 2005

Something to remember for July. It answers quite a few questions from last year: From this week’s RBR’s newsletter:

Expo

Sunday, March 20th, 2005

Went to the Diabetes Expo yesterday and worked in the Tour de Cure booth in the “ADA World” section. Succesfully managed to resist most of the schwag but did end up with a battery operated “personal fan and flashlight” from Accu-check. It will probably last about 25 minutes. Boston Bike Show

Saturday, March 12th, 2005

Went to the Boston Bike Show today. It was about the same as last year, not as well attended, but it was a really sucky day, so that probably hurt quite a bit.

Love. It.

BostonHerald.com – Local/ Regional News: Freedom of the road suit pits cyclist vs. trooper

Thursday, March 3rd, 2005

Mass State Patrol is second only to Boston PD in the thuggery factor. I mean, I’m no fan of Critical Mass, but MSP and BPD never miss an opportunity to show what jerks they are.

Busy busy

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2005

Since I decided to sell my place, I haven’t had time to breathe, let alone ride. Not that it matters. There was yet another 8 inches of snow yesterday. Will this winter ever end? Last night’s news said there had been 78.1 inches of snow in Boston this year, the 7th highest on record. Of [...]
