Outriders tomorrow
The annual Outriders ride is tomorrow. Unfortunately, I’ve had a really bad cold and haven’t been able to get on the bike for about the last two weeks, so my readyness for this is somewhat less than ideal. Still, it should be a good time.
The dog is headed to a friend’s house tonight, some kind of dinner thing tonight at Club Cafe, then it’s off at dawn in the morning. I’ll be staying at a place called “Captain’s House” which was the only place I could find that would rent for a single night without the usual three or four night minimum stay. It’s supposed to be right near the pier, so it will be close to the finish line unlike last year when I stayed all the way over in Truro.
Brunch on Sunday, then a fast ferry ride back at 3:00. I’m hoping the weather holds out. It looks dry, but I could go for just a bit warmer.
