So I went. And it was good.
I watched a couple of the circuit races from a couple of different spots and it was interesting. Far smaller crowds that I expected. I at lunch in a place downtown and the waitress there didn’t even know it was going on. This was the 46th running of a really important race. Does anyone in Boston not know when the Boston Marathon is?
I saw a couple of the women’s races; cat 3 and 4, I think. I saw the pro/1/2 line up and start, but then I had to leave to catch the train back. The T schedule to Fitchburg really sucks.
I also bought a t-shirt which, when I got home, turned otu to be the smallest “large” ever made. Unwearable, in fact. I also ran into Barbara who will be doing the Diabetes ride next week.
