She only paced me, though. There was someone a ways ahead and a ways behind me and she only paced alongside me. Actually, it was "helped" along. It's (with 's meaning "was") a carbon fiber bike. There were a dozen or so fibers holding it together after the accident, but they didn't hold for long. It was originally a <a href="http://www2.trekbikes.com/Bikes/Road/Performance_Road/Pilot/Index.php" rel="nofollow">Trek Pilot</a>. It was a loaner bike. The Trek guy was from Trek's <a href="http://www.ridethebesttour.com" rel="nofollow">"Ride The Best" tour</a> where they follow rides like this around and loan bikes for test rides. Distract me from work.
