Header images

I rewrote the ‘random’ header image thing to pull the images from the Coppermine database (i.e. the gallery), rather than a statically build array. I notice that once in a while, the image gets lost even though it’s quite clearly there in the source. Not sure what that’s about. In any case, this should allow me to add header images through Coppermine and have them show up automagically.

We’ll see how it goes.

Next up… rejigger the menu to use the new Dreamweaver 8 css stuff. Not sure yet whether to use the DW stuff or the similar, but more complex stuff in Fireworks. From what I can tell, having looked at it only briefly, FW requires the base menu be an image rather than text, but there are many more options for creating the sub-menus and other swoopy swirly things.

It was pointed out to me that this has caused a problem in the blogs for every page except the index page. Hmmm… So no rotating image on the blog until I can find the problem. Enjoy the tree.
