I was bored out of my mind yesterday and had to get out of the house, so I took a trip up to Davis Square. Figured I might as well check a couple of shops for fixies, although I didn’t really expect to find much.
I didn’t.
But I stopped in ATA and saw one of the Fondriest silver carbon bikes. swoon Like this
Very nice bike. I don’t think I’d buy anything else at ATA, they sort of pissed me off, but they only had two fixie bikes (DiBernardi and something else) anyway so it’s sort of a moot point. So I went over to Wheelworks, and they had, maybe, two or three fixed/SS bikes, but one was an enormously huge frame, and another was a track bike (far more than I’m willing to spend).
So I guess I’ll wait for the weather to clear and head over to Broadway to see if they have any IROs left.
