So Natick
Took the 40-mile southwest loop with Knox. Over 40 degrees. In February. Yea, verily, these are the end times.
JP, Dover, S. Natick, Wellesley, Newton.
It’s a nice ride up until Wellesley, the it sucks. The only (direct) way I’ve found back into town is to follow the marathon route (Rte 16 to Comm Ave), but that’s busy, dirty and all the drivers are really pissed off about something. Still the first part through the Charles River Valley is really nice.
I’d planned to go out a bit earlier, but I’d forgotten that a friend of mine was going in for cataract surgery that morning, so I had to go pick him up first. And since he was in surgery, he had to fast, so he was muy hungry. We ended up at Mike’s for breakfast. So the ride didn’t get started until about noon, but any ride is a good one, eh?
