Bike lust
Couldn’t get things done in time, so I didn’t get out of the house until 2:30, so the longest ride I could manage was West Newton. Spectacular day, almost 60. Roads are kind of a mess with all the melting snow but… 60 degrees!!! In February!!!
Stopped at Harris Cyclery while there and oogled at the inventory. They had a nice Pake (in my size!), a Redline 9-2-5 that was kitted out really nicely with mustache handlebars. The Redline s a compact frame, though, and I’m really after a classic. They also had Surley Steamroller and Karate Money frames, and well as a couple Bianchi Pistas.
I wish mine would hurry up and get here.
I want my bike! NOW!

Well, he said he makes about two bikes per day, four days a week and that I was about 10th in the queue. That, with shipping, makes it about 2 to 2-1/2 weeks, I think.
It would be nice to have it for Schlitz and Giggles, but I don’t think that will happen.
