You’ve got to love the “T”. (Where “love” means shake your head in disgusted wonderment.)
T spokesman Joe Pesaturo said the car was never designed to be part of a rush hour weekday train, citing the tripping hazard for commuters because of the bike racks and the wasted space in the car if it does not fill with bikes.
“Tripping hazard”?!?!? Heh. I guess all those empty Snapple bottles rolling around on the floor are fine.
“At 7 a.m. on a Tuesday, you don’t have a lot of bikers taking commuter rail,” he said.
You think that’s maybe because bikes aren’t allowed on commuter rail at 7 am on Tuesdays, there Joe?
