Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves by PG Wodehouse
Another Jeeves and Wooster book. This time it’s at Totlegh Towers, the home of Sir Watkyn Basset and Madelyn. Madelyn and Gussie Fink-Nottles betrothal is off again and Bertie tries to bring them back together. And fails. On stage also are Spode a/k/a Lord Sidcup, Stiffy and Stinker, and assorted other characters.
These books are all starting to run together, but they are written so well that it doesn’t really matter. Some of the plot devices get a bit old, if old is the word I’m looking for, but it doesn’t really matter.
