Patients piling medical costs on credit cards
Patients piling medical costs on credit cards - The Boston Globe
This is exactly what Sen. Chuck Grassley said does not happen and the extent to which it does happen people have only themselves to blame. When the whole credit reform act (or whatever it’s called - the one that makes it much harder to declare bankruptcy) was being debated, Grassley, ever in the pocket of the credit card companies, said it was bunk that people were declaring bankruptcy because of massive medical bills since the debt was overwhelmingly because of credit cards. When asked point blank about people that put their medical bills on cards, he said that it didn’t happen.
Only in America would the answer to insane medical costs be the establishment of a line of credit.
