A close call
Ach… Nearly bought it today. Coming home from a few errands in Downtown Crossing, I was coming down Columbus Ave. at the intersection of Berekeley from the Common. I had a green. A car coming the opposite direction wanted to beat the car coming behind me, I guess, and turned left right into me. He would have T-boned me at about 20mph. Luckily, I think he heard me yelling in time and screeched to a stop about 2 feet from me. Of course, he had the time to stop and scream at me that he had a green light. So did I buddy, and you were turning left.
I thought my number was on that one.
Idiot.
