Zero Hour!
I knew that Airplane! was a spoof of airline disaster movies, but somehow it escaped my notice that it was based, almost word for word, on Zero Hour! until I saw a comparison on You Tube (part 1) (part 2). That meant I had to rent it.
As a movie, it’s not so great. But you can’t watch it without seeing Airplane! in every shot. It’s as hard as watching Frankenstein after watching Young Frankenstein. You’ve got to see it.
It looks like I picked a bad week to quit smoking.
