A better night
The vet called at about 9:00 saying she’d sent a prescription for prednisone over to the CVS on Boylston St. It’s the only pharmacy in the city open 24 hours, can you believe that? A city of 600,000 and one all-night pharmacy?
So I went over and the lone pharmacist was swamped. Really. How unfair is it to her. One pharmacist in the only open drug store in the entire city. She said it would be an hour wait. So I waited. I don’t think it was an hour, but it was a good long time, and it was hot in there.
So I got home a little after 10 and gave him one. He slept reasonably well through the night, as did I (finally). Woke up at 10, which pretty much shoots any productivity for today, as I’ve got a bunch of end-of-year errands to run (like tax deposits, IRA deposits, &c).
Anyway, oncology appointment tomorrow afternoon.
