Pats and BBQ
A friend and I went to Blue Ribbon BBQ in Newton last weekend. It’s a very small place with about 15 seats (stools along a counter). We asked if they were gearing up for the Superbowl. She said they were nearly sold out. Sold out?
They’re taking three reservations per five minute period when you can get your order. Clever, actually. Keeps people from being disappointed when they call and are told there’s a two hour wait. Still, it’s a strange thing to make a reservation for an order, yes?
