This was in this week’s Road Bike Rider e-newsletter.  Not being able to read my cyclometer is a problem I have. I’ve been wearing bifocals since I was, like, 3 or something. My prescription is to the point where I have a lot of trouble finding wrap-around frames that will support the prescription. I guess if it’s too bendy, it gets too thin or something. But I finally did find a pair of Ray Bans that work really, really well and look good, and they’re actual sunglasses so I don’t look like a twerp when I’m off the bike. (I could just imaging wearing shields into the food store.) Budgets what they are, two pairs of prescription sunglasses is not an option.

And it’s not like the script changes between the regular vision and the bifocal. It’s just stronger. I wonder if these are worth a try. For $15.00, I think so. I wonder if they look really stoopid. If they’re well made, they should virtually disappear. Besides the lenses on the Ray Bans are pretty dark.
