Master and Commander
I tried for six weeks to read this. I got to chapter five. I gave up.
Maybe it’s good, but I just wasn’t in the mood. It’s the first in the series so he spends pages and pages and pages describing what each sail and line is called and what the purpose of it is.
I was more in the mood for buckling some swashes.
Maybe I’ll try again later.

Yah, I tried to read the first one myself and got bored. Not sure if they would get better in the later volumes or not…
