Monday darts

I did okay. I played team 601 (win), doubles cricket (lost), singles 301 (won). The team lost 4-3. I got the winning out on 601. We closed out first in doubles cricket but were out pointed. I also sort of spaced out and at the start of the doubles cricket, I forgot what game I was playing and spent two hands trying to double in. I had a high throw of 97, so I almost scored there as well.

It occured to me the other day that this is the first time I’ve ever been a member of a team of anything. Not during school or after. No, wait! That’s not true, I was on the drill team at college. But I joined that with people I already knew, and I primarily did IDR. I do remember getting up at 5:30 AM to practice, though. But that’s the only one I can recall. I’m not sure I’m doing this team thing right. I find it very difficult to hear in there (especially certain people) and I think people think I’m ignoring them. I see them at other times during the week and no one speaks, so I don’t know if it’s that or just a general Boston thing. Oh well. The season is only another month or so.

Hmm, someone must have been paying more attention than I was. Apparently, I got a 100 tonnage. Did I score wrong?

Think, think, think … I do remember scoring a triple 20 and something else. Maybe that was it?

So now I’m 3d on the tonnage list at 336.

    Umm…congratulations?

I wasn’t aware you scored that game like dockworkers load freight.
