Tour of California
I’ve been watching Amgen Tour of California for the last couple of days. It’s been interesting, but the “technical difficulties” have been frustrating. I know the weather has thrown a wrench into the works, but, I mean, this is Adobe, Yahoo, and, well, the rest of California. Are they really crippled by rain?
I guess so.
But when the Tour Tracker is working, it’s a pretty awesome application. (Adobe Flex, I think.) I just wish all the different areas of the screen were sync’d up a little better. The video runs quite a bit ahead of the rider tracker. But I do like the presentation.
I just wish the weather would co-operate.
And Team Type 1 is part of the race. That’s pretty cool. Phil Southerland is lanterne rouge at the moment. Still, someone to root for.
