Last night I swear I could hear mice chewing my nice, new cabinets.
Fully, finally, completely done. The builder came yesterday to do the last one or two extra things I asked him to do, and he’s totally out of here.
The renovation is complete.
The only thing left is the final bill and cleaning. Pictures once the cleaning is done.

Another slowish day. Decided to take the train up to Woburn to see if I could find any drawer pulls I liked. I couldn’t and was back home by 3:30, including a stop for lunch and at Trader Joes.

Nothing happened yesterday. In fact, I didn’t expect them back for the rest of the week, but they came this morning. They poured thinset mixture on the kitchen and bath floors to level them out for tiling which will, apparently, begin on Monday (or maybe Tuesday). Things are moving quickly.

Boy, these guys are fast.
The kitchen drywall is up. The plywood is up on the kitchen ceiling. (I’m having a copper ceiling put in and it needs to be mounted to plywood.) The tub and shower plumbing is roughed in. New studs are in the bathroom where the old ones were weak or cut.
