I gave the guy a slip of paper with my circuit number. He added the notes you said and stuck it to the phone line.

Of course, that doesn’t do any good when they’re monkeying around with distribution box down on the corner.

You should put a big sign on the punch box:

“Dear Verizon, please don’t cut my line (again).
It’s a DSL line w/o voice. There isn’t supposed to be a dial tone.
